These CE approved leather motorcycle boots have protection and comfort features all round too; ankle, shin, sole etc, and having clocked up a good few miles in the Portfino boots I’m impressed that the Outdry membrane has ensured that they are 100% waterproof (and breathable too). Apparently said membrane is laminated to the outer leather of the motorcycle boots, which is why it is so effective. Usually in other waterproofing techniques there would be a separate membrane, meaning that the rain would have to travel through the outer to the waterproof membrane and it would then sit in between those two layers both cooling your feet and not allowing them to breath. So I’m told.

And being Italian, Forma have matched all the technology with the oiled leather to give a classic and practical look to these boots. There is even a subtle reflective strip in the back, but the boots look far more period than modern.
